We have a passion: making Japanese anime profitable. We would like you to enjoy Japanese anime for life. Even though Japanese anime is so popular now, the industry is not profitable. Some animators are working with low salaries for many hours and anime production companies don't have the best reputation as a profitable company.

If this situation continues, fewer people will want to become animators, which could weaken the competitiveness of animation. This might mean that there would be no more weekends to look forward to the latest anime episodes, quality anime and exciting stories.

We want to create a society where people can continue to enjoy anime. And we want people to taste anime more. This is because Japanese is a notoriously complicated language and translations may not convey 100% of the appeal of anime. Then, we hope that you will enjoy learning the Japanese language by utilising your passion and interest: anime. This website was set up with these wishes.

The author is a native Japanese who spent 25 years in Japan and speaks Kansai-dialect which is a popular and friendly dialect in Japan.
